Sometimes we can become very closed and precious about our work and find it difficult to open it up for feedback. However, ultimately we are making work for others, so a work in progress performance or presentation is essential to test if what we are hoping to communicate can be communicated.
To support the delicate process of giving feedback the choreographer Liz Lerman developed a system called the Critical Response Process.
